“ Since i arrived in hong kong, this is the only restaurant so far that keep it real and authentic. The textures of hong kong noodles, the rich broth and the freshness of the ingredients. Their food presentation looks so simple, yet it taste with perfection. I did not rate their foods based on the michellin red circles they put on the wall. Most of the michellin restaurants are overrated anyway. When you took the first bite and suddenly you found yourself smiling and your heart is filled with warm feeling....that is what happened to me here. ”
“ For me this is one of the best beef brisket noodle i have ever had, the tendon were perfectly cooked, the portion quite big for me, i like it... surely will come again when i visit Hong Kong again ”
“ A clean and tidy place. The foods are more expensive than the other neighborhood restaurants. But the higher overall quality for your meal time indeed worth it. I didn’t know it was a 3-year Michelin until seating in. I think the good store management and consistent food quality on the high end collectively earned them the award. ”
“ The noodles were nice and springy but not as springy as the other shops. The taste of the soup was a bit light and lacked the umami. The wanton was good with soft and thin skin and plump filling of pork and prawn was good with some dried sole fish mixed in there. The beef brisket was cook until very tender that it almost melt in your mouth. The beef balls were well season and extra bouncy in texture. ”
“ We ordered the braised beef noodle, sliced beef congee, pork feet noodles, wanton noodle soup, and mud carp balls. It was all so good except the balls but my dad liked that one. I think people who enjoy unique delicacies will enjoy that one but not for me. I’m giving it a 4 for food because the beef in my noodles was too fatty, not so much meat but other wise the flavour is great. Ambiance is great, place is small but gives off old school vibes. Highly recommend this place! ”
“ Order for shrimp and pork dumpling noodle. Noodle was plain. Soup is not salty as I saw in other reviews. The dumpling quite good. ”
“ Great place for food. Noodles dishes are delicious, place is clean and service is great. Worth the try I think. ”
“ Tidy and clean venue with helpful staff. I had Meatball and Liver Congee. The congee itself is a large portion and a tiny bit too smooth to my liking but others may actually prefer this texture. 3 thick pieces of liver and 3 tiny meatballs is certainly not enough, so I had to order extra even though I would have to forego half the congee. However they only have liver with kidney and I seldom eat pork kidney but would love some more liver so I ordered it anyway. For HKD$100.- a plate of liver and kidney is not cheap but the portion is quite a bit. Very large pieces and delicious. Would try wonton next time. ”
